Having watched Barbarian, I knew that Zach Cregger would deliver another insane story with twists and turns throughout. With Weapons, that is exactly what we got. Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, Benedict Wong and the entire crew give great performances in this film ultimately about our need for consumption, and the ideas of individualism. Similar to Barbarian, Weapons does an excellent job balancing the horror and comedy aspects in a unique way. Zach Cregger once again takes you on a thought provoking ride that doesn't hold your hand when it comes to his messaging. Special shout out to Austin Abrams and Alden Ehrenreich. Those two hands down had one of the funniest performances in a movie all year, and their comedic timing was impeccable. Outside of the movie feeling a tad bit too long, Weapons is definitely worth a watch.
