From start to finish, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning was an absolute blast. With almost a 3-hour runtime, I was hooked from the opening prologue all the way until the ending credits rolled. The stakes were immediately established from jump, and the story beautifully unraveled throughout, without ever feeling like a drag. Tom Cruise does the impossible yet again in upping the ante in every way imaginable. From the insane stunts, amazing cinematography, and massive practical sets, director Christopher McQuarrie pulls out all the stops in delivering seemingly an epic finale to this storied franchise. I can't stress enough how insane these stunts were. You can tell every red cent was spent not only on doing everything as practical as they could, but also coming up with and executing some of the most batshit crazy stunt performances you will ever see. There's no better way to see this movie than on the biggest IMAX screen available to you. If this really is the end, the sum of everyone's parts in this franchise was worth it.
