Big Jim does it again. There are multiple times throughout this movie where I was absolutely mind blown. Also, this might be the horniest blockbuster ever. As expected, we pick up shortly after the events of the way of water. The Sully family are all grieving, but each member is going through it in different ways. I love the dynamics between each character and how they deal with loss. This movie truly feels like a part two in the best way possible. Quaritch, again played incredibly by Stephen Lang, is twice as angry, running around and this time with partner in crime Varang played by Oona Chaplin. Their chemistry oozes off the screen and every scene was more sensually dangerous than the last. Shout out to Sam Worthington too. He sneakily had what I think was the best performance in the film, and easily was his best performance in this franchise. Zoe Saldana as usual put on a masterclass, and I'm really interested to see where her journey goes in the earth-based Avatar 4. All in all, Avatar Fire and Ash was an amazing time. I never watch 3D movies, but I always make it a point to watch these films in that format. James Cameron can make these movies forever as far as I'm concerned.
