Ballerina was exactly what I expected. I had a ton of fun watching Ana De Armas run around shooting up baddies for 2 hours in this revenge fueled romp. The story itself wasn't really much to write home about, but it was the action-packed sequences that really took this one over the hump. After four of these, the John Wick franchise continues to up the ante with insane fight choreography and mind-blowing set pieces. There are two separate moments in this movie involving hand grenades and flamethrowers that absolutely blew me away. Overall, Ballerina was an otherwise serviceable entry into the Wick franchise that had batshit crazy action sequences throughout, and once again proves that Ana De Armas is a pretty awesome action star.
