In under two hours, Dan Trachtenberg delivered probably the most dense and emotionally layered movie in the Predator franchise. Packed to the brim with action, humor, and a beating heart at it's core, Predator Badlands absolutely blew me away. Huge shout-out to Elle Fanning, who's pulling double duty in this. She nails both of her roles and continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. Dimitrius Schuster also had an incredible performance as our main character Dek. Trachtenberg continues his already stellar track record with these films. Ultimately, Badlands is a found family tale that's filled with heart and adds more depth to the lore of the Yautja. I had a blast in the theaters watching this.
